What’s in a Name – CombFiltered

Before we begin to dissect the name “CombFiltered,” I’d like to quote probably the most famous person who has ever discussed my name – Major Nelson at Xbox. In an email exchange we had about it, he said, “That is not at all what I was thinking when we were chatting about it on the podcast. It’s original though, I’ll give you that.” You can listen to the ever entertaining trio of Larry Hryb (Major Nelson), Jeff Rubenstein, and Laura Massey discuss my gamertag on Major Nelson’s podcast and what they thought it meant. On & Piqued – 2/20/2020

We’re going to start a recurring blog post called “On & Piqued.” The purpose of this is getting some quick insight into what’s going on in our gaming world. Not all of us will be included in each post if we don’t have a lot going on, but hopefully most will be. The “On” part is what has been on our gaming devices recently. The “Piqued” part is anything that has piqued our interest. It might be a game that we used to play, came out with an update or has announced an update, and we’re thinking of going back to it. It might be a game concept that was announced and isn’t launching for 5 years. Whatever is making a splash in our little worlds.
